Farrans Construction, a civil engineering pipeline specialist, has secured two major water main contracts for South East Water, with a combined value of £8.9m.

Work is currently underway at Barrow-in-Furness where Farrans are constructing a new tidal pumping station and outfall pipeline as part of a £6million project in the seaport town of Cumbria.

At an awards ceremony in Scotland’s Stirling Castle, Farrans once again came up trumps, taking home a coveted award for Contractor in the Community in recognition of the work carried out on the Glasgow City Centre Water Main Rehab project.
