Farrans is delighted to be presenting at next week's Digital Construction Live Conference, which takes place in Belfast's Europa Hotel.
Hosted by BIM Regions NI, the event will see a range of individuals from the construction sector coming together to discuss the role of BIM and the use of digital technologies in the industry.
Having understood the value of digital technology in positively influencing the design process, day-to-day site operations and the overall experience for the client, Farrans has been championed this new approach in recent years.
Farrans Design Manager, Rudi Moore, who has been involved in this process, will be presenting at the event and said he was looking forward to the opportunity to speak with those who share the vision of a digital future in construction.
“As part of our commitment to deliver our services digitally, this event will be an opportunity to inform the industry on Farrans' digital journey to date, the BIM projects we are delivering and the digital technologies we have implemented.
"Farrans is a BSI BIM verified tier one contractor and we are involved in some exciting projects throughout the UK".
"On projects such as the Altnagelvin North Wing Development Project, we have directly seen the positive impact of such a digital approach. Whether it's faster resolution of issues on site or ensuring the Client has a clear vision of the project from the outset, there are many benefits to be derived from this approach".
Farrans is wholly committed to providing training and development within this growing sector. Since 2014, more than 120 Farrans employees, across all levels of experience, have received BIM training.
