Farrans is off to an excellent start as awards season kicks off in earnest, with nominations in both the Responsible Business Awards and the Construction News Awards for a number of projects and initiatives.
Following on from the success of last year, Farrans is delighted to have received three nominations at this year’s 2018 Responsible Business Awards.
Farrans’ proactive approach to supporting the unemployed across Northern Ireland has been recognised in shortlisting for the ‘Employability Award’.
The ‘Educational Award’ nomination highlights Farrans’ consistent engagement with school children through solid business education partnerships to assist in youth development.
The outstanding Connswater Community Greenway project in East Belfast has also clinched a nomination within the Business in the Community Awards, on the back of winning a host of national awards over the past year.
The news comes on the back of another prestigious nomination for Community Engagement Project of the Year.
In the Construction News Awards, the judges selected the community engagement on the Northern Spire Bridge project in Sunderland as finalist material in a hotly contested category.
The Farrans team will now gear up for the Responsible Business Awards in May, whilst the Construction News Awards will take place in London in July.
