We have a commitment to learning and professional development. Farrans fund and promote further and higher education courses, training programmes tailored to the individual and knowledge sharing within the company. All such development is managed by our internal CPD committee. The committee meets monthly and identifies training needs that will benefit individuals and align with the overall company training strategy.
At Farrans we pride ourselves in our ability to nurture new talent and strongly believe that our long term success lies in the young people of today. We have strong alliances with local Schools, Colleges and Universities and employ twenty to thirty work experience and placement year students annually. The knowledge gained on these placements is invaluable to a person’s development and often leads to continued employment and graduate careers at Farrans.
Our bespoke Farrans Advance scheme gives all of our technical staff the encouragement and support to reach Chartered status in their profession.
We are registered training providers with the Professional Institutions relevant to our industry and Farrans Advance guides each person down their chosen path towards Chartered Professional status.
